Sara Bode, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia University in New York City, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. As a graduate student, Sara was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Sara joined Westlake Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 2006 as a registered nurse. She assisted in cosmetic surgery and cosmetic dermatology alongside Westlake Dermatology physicians for over 10 years. After attaining an advanced degree, Sara rejoined Westlake Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 2019 as a nurse practitioner. Sara now provides both medical and cosmetic dermatology services. She is licensed to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Her goal is to help patients attain healthy, beautiful skin, whether it is through skin cancer screening, treating skin disorders, or addressing cosmetic concerns. Cosmetic services she offers include aesthetic injections, laser rejuvenation, body contouring, and non-invasive skin tightening. Sara is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing. She is a member of professional associations including Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, Central Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
